A total number of 11 political parties have submitted their applications for the upcoming National Assembly (NA) election in order to register the party.
As per the Election Commission (EC), Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Nepali Congress, Socialist Party, Rastriya Janata Party, Nepal Janata Dal have submitted their applications.
Similarly, Historical Democratic People’s Party, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Rastriya Janamorcha, Nepal Federal Social Party, Rastriya Prajatantrik Party and Ratriya Prajatantrik Party (United) have also submitted their applications for the registration.
Today is the last date to register the party for Upper House election. The Election Commission is set to hold the elections for 19 seats of the NA on January 23.
