Kathmandu, March 14
An 18-member team from home is to take part in the 10th Donosti Cup International Football Tournament to be held in Spain.
Information about this was shared at a press meet organised by the Schola’rs Home Academy Here today. According to Academy, the team members are competing in tournament in two age groups (13 and 14) along with around 500 teams from 57 countries of five continents.
The tournament has been scheduled from upcoming July 1 to 8 and teams belonging to 10-18 years age groups are taking part in it. The Academy (school) based in Samakhusi, Kathmandu will be sending 18 students selected through qualification rounds for the international tournament. Bharat Lama is the team coach while eighth grader Anuj Poudel is the team captain.
