Kathmandu, March 2
The National Seismological Center (NSC) at the Department of Mines and Geology today recorded a 4.6 magnitude aftershock of the Gorkha earthquake of April 25, 2015.
The epicenter of the aftershock was Shyama, near Jiri. Earlier on February 27, aftershock measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded at the same place.
Chief at the Centre, Lok Bijaya Adhikari, said that a total of 491 aftershocks measuring above 4 on the Richter scale have been recorded so far after Gorkha earthquake.
