464 new cases propel Nepal’s COVID-19 caseload to 22,214

Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population on Friday said that the country’s coronavirus tally has reached 22,214 after 464 people tested positive for coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing this afternoon, Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam the cases were confirmed in 7,926 tests at laboratories across the country.

A total of 15,814 have recovered across the country so far after 425 discharged from hospital and isolation centers in the past 24 hours, he shared.

At present, 6,330 people are in isolation and 10,207 are in quarantines.

Nepal’s death toll stands at 70 after five new deaths reported, Spokesperson Dr. Gautam said.
