President of Bangladesh Mohammad Abdul Hamid who is paying an official goodwill visit to Nepal is scheduled to meet President Bidhya Devi Bhandari today. The meeting will be held at 4 after noon at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas to discuss all issues of mutual interest. Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Chairperson of the National Assembly, Ganesh Prasad Timilsina and Foreign Minister Gyawali will call on President Hamid separately today in different designated times. Similarly, Chairperson of Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and senior leaders of different political parties will also pay a courtesy call on the Bangladeshi President. President Bhandari is hosting a Banquet in honour of her Bangladeshi counterpart and his delegation today evening at Hotel Yak and Yeti.
While in Nepal, Bangladesh President Hamid will also be visiting the Lake City Pokhara and historical, archaeological and cultural sites in Kathmandu valley. The Bangladeshi guests will also visit different places including Bhaktapur Durbar area, Pokhara and Chandragiri of Kathmandu during their stay in Nepal.
