Nepal has been ranked second on scoreboard at the ongoing 13th South Asian Games with a total of 164 medals so far (45 gold, 44 silver and 75 bronze). India topped the rankings with the total 248 medals including 131 gold, 77 silver and 40 bronze. Till the game being played on Sunday, India had won 131 gold medals, 77 silver and 40 bronze making 248 medals in total.
Similarly, the rankings were followed by Sri Lanka being at third position with 34 gold medals, 66 silver and 93 bronze. Pakistan has secured fourth position with 28 gold, 34 silver and 43 bronze, Bangladesh fifth with eight gold, 28 silver and 66 bronze, Maldives sixth with one gold and two bronzes, and Bhutan seventh with nine bronzes.
Nepal has added gold medal in swimming and judo on Sunday. Gaurika Singh in swimming won the gold medal in the 100-meter freestyle category clocking 58.13 seconds today while on Sunday, Singh had scored a hat-trick in swimming adding another gold medal under the 400 meter freestyle category clocking 4:25:28 seconds.
Same like, Devika Khadka has won gold medal in Judo in 52 the kg category in the final held at Army Physical Fitness Centre in Lagankhel.
