Nirvana Chaudhary, Chief Executive Officer of CG (Chaudhary Group) in Nepal has been appointed as the new Honorary Consul of Nepal in Kathmandu. CG is a multinational conglomerate operating in more than 30 countries with more than 15,000 employees.
Chaudhary was honored with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, which comes into force on Friday. The republic of Serbia is a country situated at the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe in the southern Pannonian Plain and the central Balkans.
The opening of consulates in Nepal represents a new level of bilateral relations, as well as the possibility of expanding trade and cultural exchanges at the level of the two countries, the statement said.
The company is owned by Binod Chaudhary, the first Forbes billionaire to invest in Serbia, with the opening of a factory for the production of nudli, CG Europe Foods – in 2017. This is also the first investment the company has made in Europe.
Nirvana Chaudhary graduated from the Faculty of Management in Nepal, completed his master’s studies at Cambridge – MIT, as well as his MBA – “London Business School”. He has numerous professional successes behind him.
At the age of 19, he started his own company, and before the age of 30 he became CEO of the company. Since 2010, he has also been managing the Chaudhary Foundation for (CSR) Social Responsibility in Nepal. He is also married and have two children.
