Financial assistance of Rs 121,230 was handed over to a journalist, Maya Pakuwal, suffering from a kidney ailment.
The financial aid was collected at the initiative of Nagarik FM of Bhadrapur municipality, in Jhapa district.
Chief Editor of ‘Barun’ weekly published from Jhapa, Pakuwal, is suffering from kidney disorder for the past three months. Pakuwal has to undergo a transplant of both kidneys. Different organizations, social workers, and youths, who are in overseas employment, have been providing financial assistance to Pakuwal.
Handing over the amount, FM Managing Director Chintamani Dahal wished her speedy recovery.
