Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is addressing the parliament on Saturday at 11 am. PM Oli will address the parliament regarding the achievements made by his government in the span of two years.
Prior to this, PM Oli was scheduled to address the parliament at 2 pm on Friday. However, due to the demise of National Assembly member Durga Prasad Upadhyay, it was postponed for Saturday.
Cancer-ridden Upadhyaya passed away at the age of 50 at his residence in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality-10 of Rupandehi.
Meanwhile, the main opposition party Nepali Congress had sent a letter to the parliament secretariat requesting the latter to postpone Oli’s address.
The Oli-led government is completing two years on today.
