A woman has tested positive for corona virus (COVID-19) found in Kathmandu.
Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal informed about this by organizing a press meeting today.
The Health Ministry also shared that the infected person came from France who has been tested positive for corona virus. She has been kept at Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital at Teku on Friday for the treatment.
Prior to this, a nepali national came from China had been proved positive for corona virus. However, he had safely returned to home after getting treatment.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Dhakal urged that government does not hide any information relating to COVID-19. Addressing this in a press meet today at Health Ministry, Minister Dhakal said that only transparent information will be provided to the public.
“There is no reason to hide the information, if found any person positive for the virus, that news must be disseminated in a transparent way”-Minister Dhakal further added.
