A sample swab of a woman who had lost her life in the wee hours on Friday at Bharatpur Hospital has been sent to teku hospital to find out whether she had contracted the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The dead body has been kept separately with the application of safety measures and her swab sample will be sent to the Teku-based National Public Health Laboratory for the test.
As shared by the hospital chair Dr Bhojraj Adhikari, 26-year-old Usha Kumari Rai of Sindhuli was brought to the hospital on Thursday late midnight and she breathed her last in course of treatment after two hours.
A medical team involved in her treatment will be quarantined. The Hospital has placed high alert measures specifically in the treatment of fever patients in view of the increased health risk posed by the coronavirus pandemic.
