Britain has said it is planning to import 3 million tablets of paracetamol from India.
According to the information provided by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom on Wednesday, India has agreed to send 3 million tablets of paracetamol to the UK.
“The UK is likely to receive 3 million tablets of paracetamol following talks with India,” said the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the UK.
The medicine will arrive in the next two weeks and will be kept in a supermarket, according to the officials of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
The death toll from Coronavirus in the UK has reached 12,868 after 761 died in the last 24 hours. With 4,603 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 98, 476 as of Thursday morning.
Currently, 85, 264 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.
