Relief materials have been distributed to the locals of Nisyang rural municipality of Manang.
As shared by the rural municipality chair Kanchha Ghale, 76 households were provided relief package so that they would not suffer from food shortage during the ongoing lockdown. As most of them are from working class, they may suffer food shortage.
So, they are provided food stuffs, Ghale added. The relief package comprises rice, cooking oil, iodized salts and potatoes.
Meanwhile, local health centre has launched awareness campaign against the possible outbreak of COVID-19. However, the district is yet to receive COVID-19 testing kits.
