Temporary vegetable markets open in three places

19 April 2020, Kathmandu

Three temporary vegetable markets has been opened  in Kathmandu from Sunday by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC).

The temporary vegetable markets have started in Baphal, Swayambhu and Kalanki as the vegetable markets in Balkhu and Kalimati have been closed due to the fear of coronavirus spread.

The KMC had earlier decided to open temporary vegetable markets in 11 places in the capital. The decision could not be implemented effectively owing to some ‘managerial’ reasons.
