Nepal’s COVID-19 tally reaches 49

Nepal has confirmed a new COVID-19 case on Friday evening. With this, the total number of people infected with coronavirus in Nepal has reached 49.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a 62-year-old man from Jhapa has tested positive for coronavirus.

His swab sample was tested at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.

The man has been isolated and his health condition is normal, stated Ministry’s Co-Spokesperson Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari.
