A fire broke out in Phungling of Taplejung on Friday night has destroyed seven houses.
As shared by the District Police Office, Taplejung, the fire broke at around 10:30 pm that started from a New Taxi Counter in Phungling Municipality-5.
Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and locals took the fire under control after three hours with the help of a firefighter of the municipality.
Houses belonging to Khem KC, Khadga Thapa, Bishnu Tiwari have been destroyed in the fire while two houses were demolished to stem the fire spread.
The details of the property destroyed in the fire are yet to be awaited.
