Two-month infant becomes the youngest to be infected with COVID-19 in Nepal

A two-month infant has become the youngest to be infected with COVID-19 in Nepal.

According to Dr Bikash Devkota, Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Population, 17 more persons have been infected with COVID-19 in Parsa district on Wednesday.

While 7 of them are female, 10 are male ranging from two months to 66 years of age.

The total number of coronavirus-infected people has reached 99 in Nepal so far.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that 22 out of the 99 persons receiving treatment for COVID-19 have returned home after recovery.
