With Coronavirus wreaking havoc across the world, the death toll from the novel virus has climbed to 264, 252 after 6,226 died in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, with 90, 075 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 3,814,593 as of Thursday morning.
Currently, 2,258, 224 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 48, 195 are critical.
Meanwhile, 1,292,117 have recovered after treatment.
America, the worst-hit in terms of both deaths and infection cases, has reported 1,974 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the total to 74,245 as of Thursday morning.
According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, with 21,169 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 1,258,802.
Currently, 978, 354 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across America, of which 15,808 are critical. Meanwhile, 206, 203 have recovered after treatment.
New York is the worst-hit with 25, 956 deaths followed by New Jersey and Michigan with 8,572 and 4, 250 deaths, respectively.
The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) had declared Coronavirus a Public Health Emergency on January 31 in the US.
The death toll in the United Kingdom (UK) has reached 30, 076 after 649 died in the last 24 hours as of Thursday morning.
According to Worldometer, with 6, 111 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 201, 101.
Currently, 170, 681 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical. UK has performed tests on 1,448,010 people so far.
Spain, Italy and France have witnessed low death rates since the last few days with 244, 369 and 278 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, Brazil has witnessed a surge in the deaths of people from Coronavirus of late. According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 8, 566 after 645 died in the last 24 hours.
With 11, 433 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 126, 148 as of Thursday morning.
Currently, 66, 212 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8, 318 are critical. Meanwhile, 51, 370 have recovered after treatment.
