Coronavirus death toll crosses 292,400 globally with over 4.3 mln infected

 With Coronavirus pandemic wreaking havoc across the world, the death toll from the novel virus has climbed to 292, 403 with 4,337,104 infection cases as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 2,447, 819 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 46, 343 are critical. Meanwhile, 1,596,882 have recovered after treatment.

America, the worst-hit in terms of both deaths and infection cases, has reported 1,582 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the total to 83, 377.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, with 22, 321 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 1,408,155 as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 1,028, 997 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across America, of which 16,473 are critical.  Meanwhile, 295, 781 have recovered after treatment.

New York is the worst-hit with 27, 175 deaths followed by New Jersey and Massachusetts with 9,451 and 5,141 deaths, respectively.

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) had declared Coronavirus a Public Health Emergency on January 31 in the US.

The death toll in the United Kingdom (UK) from Coronavirus pandemic has reached 32, 692 after 627 died in the last 24 hours.

According to Worldometer, with 3, 403 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 226, 463 as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 193, 427 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.   UK has performed tests on 2,007,146 people so far.

The death toll in France has reached 26, 991 after 348 died in the last 24 hours. With 802 news cases the number of infection  cases has surged to  178, 225 have been as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 93, 449 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 2, 542 are critical. Meanwhile, 57, 785 have returned home after recovery.

Similarly, Brazil has witnessed a surge in the deaths of people from Coronavirus of late. According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 12,404 after 779 died in the last 24 hours.

With 8, 459 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 177, 602 as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 92, 601 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8, 318 are critical. Meanwhile, 72, 597 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 292,403 and infecting 4,337,104  people as of Wednesday morning.

India has reported 2, 415 deaths after 121 died in the last 24 hours. With 3,524 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 74, 292 as of Wednesday morning.

Currently, 47, 457 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country while 24, 420 have returned home after recovery. The India government has performed tests on 1,759,579 people for Coronavirus so far.
