A total of 378 people were diagnosed with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population on Saturday.
Speaking at a regular press briefing this afternoon, Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that the new cases have taken the COVID-19 caseload to 22,592.
A total of 7,888 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, he said.
A total of 16,313 have recovered across the country so far after 499 discharged from hospital and isolation centers in the last 24 hours, he shared.
At present, 6,206 people are in isolation and 10,792 are in quarantines.
Nepal’s death toll stands at 73 after three new deaths reported, Spokesperson Dr. Gautam said.
