Kathmandu Valley reports 186 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

As many as 186 persons have been infected positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at the regular press briefing, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson at Ministry of Health and Populations, stated that 155 persons in Kathmandu, 19 in Bhaktapur and 12 in Bhaktapur tested positive for the pandemic virus.

Similarly, Nepal recorded 884 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of infected persons has reached 37,340 in Nepal.

The latest result came after the PCR tests carried out on 10,971 persons, said Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam at the press conference on Saturday afternoon.

Among the new cases are 642 male and 242 female.

Similarly, 20,555 persons have so far recovered so far. In the last 24 hours, 313 were recorded to free from the virus.

Currently, 175 persons are undergoing treatment at the ICU ward while 22 are on ventilator support.
