1,041 new coronavirus cases take Nepal’s tally to 45,277

The Ministry of Health and Population recorded 1,041 cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours in the county, while 1,566 infected persons got recovery during the same period.

With the PCR tests conducted among 12,473 persons in different laboratories across the country, the infection was found among 349 women and 692 men. The total infection has now reached 45,277.

Similarly, the number of people recovering from the infection has reached 27,127 Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said on Saturday.

Likewise, 326 people from Kathmandu, six from Kavre, 45 from Chitwan, six from Dolakha, ten from Dhading, ten from Dhading, one from Nuwakot, 45 from Bhaktapur, 35 from Makwanpur, five from Ramechhap, 37 from Lalitpur and two from Sindhuli of Bagmati Province have been diagnosed coronavirus positive.

Similarly, the infection has been confirmed in 23 in Kaski, 17 in Gorkha, 17 in Gorkha, three in Tanahun, five in Nawalparasi East, one in Parbat, 22 in Lamjung, six in Baglung and three in Syangja of Gandaki Province.

Similarly, one person from Arghakhanchi, one from Kapilvastu, six people from Gulmi, 39 people from Dang, 13 people from Nawalparasi, three people from Palpa, one person from Pyuthan, seven people from Bardiya, 62 people from Banke, 71 people from Rupandehi and one person from Rolpa in Province 5 have been infected with the coronavirus.

Coronavirus has been confirmed in three persons from Jajarkot, three persons from Dailekh and two persons from Salyan in Karnali Province.

Similarly, the infection has been confirmed in five people from Kanchanpur, four from Kailali, one from Dadeldhura, two from Doti and 16 from Bajhang in Sudurpaschim Province.

Currently, there are 17,870 active cases of coronavirus. Among them, 9,866 are in institutional isolations and remaining in home isolations.

In the last 24 hours, nine persons lost the battle against the coronavirus. The new fatalities have taken the death toll to 280.
