NC PP meeting endorses agenda to vote against PM Oli

A meeting of Nepali Congress (NC) parliamentary party (PP) has decided to vote against Prime Minister KP Oli on May 10.

PM Oli will seek a vote of confidence at the parliament on May 10. The PM along with other CPN-UML leaders had reached NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence seeking his support on Wednesday.

NC PP meeting held at Federal Parliament building in New Baneshwor Saturday also decided to seek PM Oli’s resignation and endorsed NC office-bearers April 3 meeting decision to take initiative to form a new government under its leadership.

NC Chief Whip Bal Krishna Khand also informed that the PP meeting decided to urge other parliamentary parties not to support PM Oli at parliament on May 10.
