Nepal recorded a total of 2,676 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,782 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 894 tested positive through the Antigen method.
According to the Ministry, 339 persons in Kathmandu, 134 in Lalitpur, and 80 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 553 in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry, 33 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 1,757 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
