Tanahun district has been without a Chief District Officer (CDO) since a month back.
The district has witnessed the absence of administrative leadership after the then CDO Ritesh Kumar Shakya moved to Kathmandu with his transfer to National Vigilance Centre, Kathmandu on January 12.
The absence of CDO has affected the decisions on the cases related to some public offense, arms and ammunition and black marketing which are under the jurisdiction of District Administration Office, it is learned.
The district administration works are being carried out totally relying on acting CDO. Assistant CDO Tulasi Ram Poudel said that he has been doing all the works in the capacity of acting chief district officer.
He claimed that no work related to public service delivery has been affected in the district.
