A man has been sent to eight years in prison after being found guilty of raping a 13-year-old girl.
The District Court Ilam announced eight years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 25,000 to be paid in compensation to the rape survivor on 27-year-old Raju Limbu called Rajman, a resident of Chulachuli-9 in Ilam. The decision was handed down by district judge Indra Kumar Chongtenli. The incident took place on 8 April 2017.
