Falebas (Parbat),March 21
Former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the two-third majority government is in the making after six decades in the country.
Inaugurating the 10th western regional level women festival beginning from today at Parbat district headquarters, Kushma Bazaar, Chairperson Dahal said the government now is effortful to muster two thirds majority, which most probably would be the first time after 2015 BS.
The two thirds majority government is needed to push the agenda of prosperity and stability and steer the country towards socialism, he added.
The recent seven-point consensus and the latest report of the taskforce have prepared the base for party merger, Chair Dahal further said.
The government with Madhes-centric parties would take full shape within no later than a couple of days, he said, adding that consensus is yet to be made with Madhes-based parties on some contentious issues including constitution amendment.
Chairperson Dahal expressed commitment that the incumbent government would adequately support the community radio.
