Jajarkot, March 2
Police have seized nine guns and 31-round bullets at Janichande rural municipality-11, Kotang.
The police recovered three one-nut home-made guns, one two-nut gun, three air guns including small and big, two other guns and bullets, according to the information shared by the Jajarkot District Police Office.
The guns and bullets were found hidden at the house of Chandra Bahadur Shahi and his son Netra Bahadur Shahi of Junichande rural municipality-11, Korta on Thursday.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the houses and seized the weapons, shared District Police Office Chief DSP Bhawes Rimal.
He further informed that police seized weapons along with 31-rounds bullets and explosives.
Police also took control both father and sons of Shahi family and preparation is on to register a case against the duo under Arms and Ammunition.
