Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that the National Investigation Department has the responsibility to maintain good governance, peace and take the development and prosperity of the country to a new height.
Visiting the Department today, the Home Minister also urged the officials of the Department to discharge their duties to safeguard and strengthen the federal democratic republic.
Issuing a press statement, Department’s Investigation Director Laxman Gurung said that the Home Minister has empathized on the need of collective efforts to make the Department’s delivery prompt and effective.
Minister Thapa also said that training to the personnel was needed to make them motivated towards their jobs with high morale and said that restructuring and making the Department resourceful is also needed.
Secretary at the Home Ministry Mohan Krishna Sapkota was also present on the occasion.
