Four lawmakers were absent during the swearing-in ceremony of the House of Representatives members today.
The absent lawmakers were – Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Mahendra Raya Yadav, Dharmashila Chapagain and Resham Chaudhari, said Dr Bharat Raj Gautam, Spokesperson of the Legislature-Parliament Secretariat.
Senior most member of the House of Representatives, Mahantha Thakur, administered the oath of office and secrecy to the participating 271 members.
Lawmaker Chaudhari is currently in the custody, while other lawmakers became absent for personal reason.
