DONALD Trump was close to being mocked over his alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels at this year’s Oscars.
An Academy Awards producer reached out to Stormy’s team to request permission to use the infamous clubhouse picture of the adult actress posing with the President, according to TMZ.
The porn star’s people did not clear it for use, according to the report, luckily for the President.
It was likely to be part of host Jimmy Kimmel’s opening monologue with Stormy already appearing as a guest on his TV show.
She denied claims of an affair with Trump and the President’s camp has repeatedly denied paying her hush money.
But she embarked on a nationwide stripping tour called Make America Horny Again, off the back of the publicity.
This year’s ceremony was tinged with politics, after Hollywood was embroiled in the #MeToo sex abuse scandal.
