The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has urged all seven provincial governments to formulate human rights-friendly laws.
Writing to the parliament secretariats in all seven provinces, the NHRC have asked the governments to abide by schedule 6, 7, and 9 of the Constitution, so that human rights friendly laws would be made.
NHRC Spokesperson Mohana Ansari said, “The governments have been urged to give high priority to the human rights while making news laws in the province level.”
