Chinese delegation meets Minister Yadav



Kathmandu, April 9

A delegation led by Deputy Director, State Administration of Industry and Commerce of China, Gan Lin, has today met with Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Matrika Prasad Yadav.

During the meeting held at Secretariat of Minister Yadav at Singh Durbar, the both held discussions on the issues relating to consumer’s welfare and rights said Minister Yadav’s personal secretary, Santosh Bista.

On the occasion, Minister Yadav said that the country has moved ahead on the way to economic prosperity and development after ending political transition, said Bista quoting Minister Yadav.

According to Batista, Minister Yadav urged China to support Nepal for prosperity and development.

Minister Yadav also stressed the need for implementation of agreement regarding protecting consumers’ rights inked between Ministry of Commerce of Nepal and State Administration for Industry and Commerce of China last year.

Similarly, Deputy-Director Gan stressed the need of expanding friendly relations existing between Nepal and China for a long.

She said that they would move ahead collaborating with Nepal on the issues of market supervision and consumers’ rights.

She further assured to continue their support to Nepal.
