Eight gas industries get NS certification



Kathmandu, April 17

Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology has granted Nepal Standard (NS) certification to eight gas industries. Those gas industries that have got the certification include Manoj Gas, Bara, Nepal Gas, Balaju, Sri Krishna Gas, Dhading, Saibaba Gas, Chitwan, Metro Kathmandu Gas, Dhading, NL Gas, Bara, Janaki Gas, Nawalparasi and Maruti Gas, Sunsari.

Director General of the Bureau Bishwa Babu Pudasaini said that the certification was provided following due processes.

Likewise, other gas industries like Koshi Gas, and Rijalko Gas, Morang, Sriram Gas, Om Gas, Bhanu Gas, and Gita Gas, Dhading Jagadambba Gas, Nepal Gas Narayani, and Ambar Gas, Bara, Manakamana Gas, Nepalgunj, Sagarmatha Gas, Surya Gas, and Chandeshwori Gas, Kavrepalanchok, Panchamaha Laxmi Gas, and Trishul Gas, Rupandehi have reached the final stage for the certification, said Pudasaini.

Similarly, the Bureau has also asked Nobel Gas, Dhanusa, Namite Gas, Siddhartha Gas, Kabsans Gas, and Satyanarayan Gas, Dhading, Gaurishankar Gas, Kavre, Siddhartha Gas, and Butawal Gas, Rupandehi, Narayani Gas, Ugrachandi Gas, and Baba Gas, Chitwan, Aarati Gas, and Rajdhani Gas, Nawalparasi, Everest Gas, Kathmandu, Grihalaxmi Gas, and Shakti Gas, Kaski to get registered for the certificate.

Pathibhara Gas, Parajuli Gas, Kankai Gas, and Mechi Gas, Jhapa, Tribeni Gas, Dhading, Sugam Gas, and Prima Gas, Sunsari, Sahara Gas, Makawanpur, Bheri Gas, Nepalgunj, Super Gas, and Liyo Gas, Bara, and Royal Gas, Dhangadhi have been asked to proceed for acquiring the NS mark.
