Initiation will be taken for operation of Tatopani border point: Minister Gyawali

Kathmandu, June 8

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Gyawali, has said that the government would hold discussion with China for the immediate operation of Tatopani border point.

Receiving the memorandum submitted by National Foreign Trade Association Association, Minister Gyawali said that they would hold discussion with Chinese government regarding brining the Tatopani border point, closed due to Gorkha earthquake, into operation.

He said that the matter related to this would be raised with top priority during China visit of Prime Minister, saying the government was serious to create environment conducive for trade expansion with China.

The Foreign Minister further said that initiative would be taken to make Nepali businesspersons’ entry to China easy and smooth, adding that China could become the main trading country of Nepal.
