“Flower of Silk Road”, a series of performances of traditional Chinese arts, concluded here recently.
Organized by China Cultural Center Nepal, Belt and Road Culturalink, and Network of International Culturalink Entities, the performances included acrobatics, Beijing opera, musical instruments and shadowboxing.
Altogether 15 programs were held at various schools and hotel of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur by renowned performers from China.
The list of programs included impressive performances like “Balancing a Jar on the Head”, “Guzheng Solo”, “Ensemble of Guzheng and Bamboo Flute”, “Peking Opera Selection”, “Farewell to My Concubine”, “Shaolin Eight Section Brocade”, “Double South Boxing”, “Flute Solo”, “Xiao Solo”, “Deep Night”, “The Balance of Twin Force”, “Ode to the Pear Flower”, “My Sun”, “Double Tai Chi”, and “Nepali Style”.
