Patan Jaycees gets new president for 2019

On a beautiful early January evening overlooking historic place Patan view, the JCI Patan organised its 48th Installation and Award Distribution Ceremony 2019 at Yak Palace, Pulchowk to installed a new Board of Directors 2019 and swore in a new President to lead them in the upcoming year 2019. JC Mijash Chitrakar (pictured below in the gold chain) is elected as new president of Patan Jaycees for year 2019.

Patan Jaycees is the first LOM of Nepal Jaycees, established in 1970. JC Chitrakar won the election unopposed and will undertake the responsibilities by the position for 2019.

In the programme, JC Suman Krishna Shrestha, 2018 President of JCI Patan handover the President chain to newly elected president JC Mijash Chitrakar in presence of all the past president of JCI Patan. In the 2019 year JC Mijash has the goal of expanding the reach of the Patan Jaycees by implementing larger trainings, panel discussion and social media presence. “In order for the organization to grow in both membership and in capacity for donating to Patan Jaycees area non-profits, a larger training, panel discussion and social media presence is needed,” JC Mijash stated at this acceptance speech.

The newly formed elected committee led by JC Chitrakar comprises of Immediate Past President JC Suman Krishna Shrestha, Executive Vice President JC Daisy Napit, Vice Presidents JC Dilip Chaudhary, JC Prabesh Malla, JC Saffrin Mool, JC Benisha Khoshi. Similarly, JC Chitrakar also appointed JC Prakriti Joshi as Secretary General, JC Rojina Thapa as Treasurer, JC Srijesh Lal Shilpakar as General Legal Counsel and JC Regun Maharjan as Joint Secretary.

The 48th Installation and Award Distribution Ceremony 2019 following member was awarded by JC Suman Krishna Shrestha; In Best LOM Officer Award- JC Daisy Napit, Best commission Chairman Award – JC Prakriti Joshi, Best Community Development Award – JC Miajsh Chitrakar, Outstanding Contribution to LOM Award – JC Dilip Chaudhary, Boys Union Social Award – JC Ronish Parajuli, Best Orator of the Year Award – JC Daisy Napit, Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Achievement Award – JC Prabesh Malla, President Special Award 2018- JC Daisy Napit, and Year 2018 Most Outstanding Jaycees Award to JC Rojina Thapa.

The 48th Installation and Award Distribution Ceremony 2019, programme was chaired by JCI Sen. Mahesh Poudel, National President 2019 of JCI Nepal, Programme chief guest was Mr Prem Raj Joshi, CDO Lalitpur, JC Amish Dhakal, Assign EVP for Area C of JCI Nepal, JC Hari Kumar Sharma, Assign VP for Area C of JCI Nepal and JC Suman Krishna Shrestha, 2018 President of JCI Patan was guest in dais.
