An Ncell telecommunications tower has come under arson attack at Katawa of Gaurahawa rural municipality-3 in Rupandehi district. The arson attack took place Friday night.
Cables and other equipments at the tower have been destroyed by fire, Police Inspector at police post Suryapura, Jibaraj Chundali, said.
The Ncell telephone services around Suryapura have been obstructed due to the arson attack. Police said an investigation is on into the incident although the cadres of the CPN Maoist led by Biplav are suspected behind this.
