Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s secret affair is making headlines. The Brahmastra actors have been spending quite some time together prepping for their mega-budget fantasy film. In fact, the duo even spent New Year 2018 together in Israel with filmmaker Ayan Mukerji for the company. While pictures hint that Ranbir and Alia might actually be dating, buzz also suggests that this is just a marketing strategy for Karan Johar’s Brahmastra.
There were reports that revealed it was Alia and Karan’s PR that started these rumors. Ranbir, who was supposedly in a steady long-distance relationship with Pakistani actress Mahira Khan was upset with these stories that started floating a few weeks back. According to some stories that were doing rounds at the time, Ranbir even reprimanded Alia and KJo’s team for spreading such false stories. It seems that Ranbir wants to steer clear of affairs and focus on his work. He seems to be done with the Casanova tag that has been bestowed upon him. While we’re yet to know what’s the truth we came across this Koffee With Karan episode of Alia Bhatt where she made a rather candid confession about not just being true, madly and deeply in love with Ranbir, but also proclaiming that she wants to get hitched to the Kapoor boy.
When Alia and Parineeti Chopra were on Karan Johar show, the host asked the actress on what’s her vibe with RK Jr, to which Alia said, “I remember the first time I spoke to Ranbir. You (Karan Johar) called him up when Rockstar released and you said, here talk to Ranbir tell him how much you love him. And I just spoke so much rubbish, I was just talking non-stop. But later I have hung out with Ranbir and I still think he is really adorable and I still want to marry him.”
When Karan further probed Alia and asked her if Ranbir’s girlfriend (now ex) Katrina Kaif knew about her intentions and if RK’s mommy Neetu Kapoor was aware of her feelings, she clarified, “Everybody knows my plan. I have gone on record and said it as you said.. and I am very open about it except to Ranbir.”
