The seventh national convention of the All Nepal Youth Association (ANYA) is to be held in Pokhara on May 11-13.
Information about this was shared at a press meet here today. “Significant change for national independence, youth rights and seventh national conference in favor of the people’s rule” is the theme of the conference, as stated by Association central chair Tilak Thapa on the occasion. The conference will be inaugurated by Rastriya Janamorcha chair Chitra Bahadur KC.
The conference will hold in-depth discussions about the lack of fulfillment of people’s basic needs, deepening feudalist culture in the society and increasing foreign meddling, despite the achievement of the republic through the people’s struggle and sacrifice, Thapa said.
The conference will endorse a special proposal regarding the issue of mobilization of youth human resources within the country.
Association central member and Kaski district chair Bikram Thapa said preparations are going on in full swing for the conference which will welcome 600 representatives from across the country.
