Kathmandu, April 19
South Asian Astro – Federation has honoured Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Vice President, Dillip Thapa Magar.
On the occasion of the Federation’s 16th Anniversary held on Wednesday, chetana.com’s Editor Ram Kumar Chhetri and Himal Television’s correspondent Manita Pokharel were also honoured.
They were honoured in recognition for their contribution to social transformation. Likewise, FNJ’s former President Laxmi Baral and Purushottam Bhattarai were also feted.
Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Committee’s Chairman Ram Chandra Gautam conferred the honours and noted that the media has been disseminating truthful information and news to the society and helping it towards positive change.
