Deputy Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Parbati Shah Thakuri, has blamed the Mayor for not coordinating with her in course of operating executive meeting.
Organizing a press meet here today, Thakuri narrated about the problems surfaced in course of fulfilling her responsibilities and condition of municipality.
She said, “The agendas of the executive meeting have been brought in a unilateral manner. I am not informed about the meeting and its agenda on time. I am not even allowed to put my dissatisfaction.”
Thakuri blamed the Mayor for not forming Public Accounts Committee, constituting important committees unilaterally and creating problems for employees on the basis of political views.
The Deputy Mayor complained that the Metropolitan City has not assigned sufficient number of technician and employees to use rights of Deputy-Mayor as mentioned in the local-government operation act.
