Former chairman of Bibeksheel Sajha Party Ujwal Thapa has passed away on Tuesday.
He was undergoing treatment at the Mediciti Hospital on a ventilator. Thapa was 44.
Thapa was infected with coronavirus and pneumonia.
Issuing a statement, the hospital said he breathed his last at 4:25 in the afternoon.
He was earlier admitted to Hams Hospital after contracting the coronavirus from where he was referred to Grande Hospital.
Thapa was taken to Mediciti from Grande Hospital.
