Bilateral Business Opportunities held between Nepal and Romania

A program on “Bilateral Business Opportunities held between Nepal and Romania recently in Kathmandu. A total of 11 business persons with the President of Chamber of commerce IASI Romania have participated including representatives with youth, entrepreneurs and business persons from Nepal. The program was chaired and moderated by Prakash Ghimire, Chairman of the organizing company Technovation Future Care Pvt. Ltd. In the program consulate General of Romania Narayan Bajaj, Vice president of Nepal Chamber of commerce Naresh Shrestha, Senior Manager of Nepal Tourism Board Sunil Sharma, Entrepreneur and JCI Nepal Past President Sen. Raju K. C., Entrepreneur & coordinator of Romanian delegate Marius Alexa, President of Chamber of commerce IASI Paul Butnariu expressed their views on the theme of the program. Five entrepreneurs and business persons from Romania also presented their business presentations.

Ghimire started the program with his views that the program is initiated for searching the business possibilities and to develop bilateral relationship between business persons from two countries. Consulate general of Romania Narayan Bajaj said that he had just started his role as honorary general consulate since the month of May 2019 and he had given his commitment to enhance the relationship between two countries and priority to promote visit Nepal 2020 and request to promote visit Nepal 2020 in Romania. Bajaj also emphasized that Nepal has good time for economic growth and to become a developing country as now the country has political stability with 2/3rd majority government. Similarly, Naresh Shrestha, Vice president of Nepal chamber of commerce said that Nepal is not a poor country and the people of Nepal has high purchasing capacity inviting Romanian entrepreneurs to invest in Nepal. Raju K. C. past national president of Nepal Jaycees presented about “Foreign Investment in Nepal” showing that the investment in Nepal can be highly profitable and two largest populated countries India and China also would be the possible sales market from Nepal. So far Marius Alexa, the coordinator of Romanian delegates, said that it would be great pleasure to be in Nepal and giving some positive impact in relationship of two countries. Paul Butnariu, the president of IASI chamber of commerce presented about the economic profile of IASI city and said that they have so many business opportunities as well as investing in Nepal. He stressed on taking skilled and non-skilled manpower in the field of hospitality management, construction, information technology, food production & services and students for higher education in so many universities & colleges. He also said that they are ready to promote Nepali tourism in Romania and invite Nepali delegates to visit Romania very soon. In the program Romanian entrepreneurs and business persons presented their products and services from H R consultancy, Management and education consultancy, food industry and services, IT, modern printing solution, travel/tourism management, healthcare and beauty products.

Senior manager of Nepal tourism board showed the presentation about tourism in Nepal and Visit Nepal 2020 and requested all participant to promote Nepal Tourism. Chairman Prakash Ghimire hand-over the token of appreciation to all guest and participants from Romania. The Romanian delegates are now in Nepal till October 1, 2019 and will visit Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Gorkha, Pokhara, Lumbini and Chitwan. The Technovation Future Care Pvt. Ltd. Nepal and S.C. Arhipelago Interactive S.L.R. Romania had already signed a MOU to promote bilateral visits and to develop business relationship. In near future Nepali delegates will also be visiting Romania.
