Kathmandu, June 17
The government has approved the draft of the memorandum of understanding on establishment of a mechanism to facilitate the programmes and projects in Nepal with support from the People’s Republic of China.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today decided to provide agreement to sign the MoU to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to Minister for Communications and Information Technology.
Likewise, the cabinet meeting has approved the Bill on Auditing to table in the Federal Parliament and also gave consensus in principles to draft a new bill on Information Technology and Public Service Broadcasting.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to slash the number of board of directors of Nepal Drinking Water Corporation from 19 to 9.
Furthermore, the meeting has approved the officials’ quota for the High Office of the Government Attorney in Okhaldhunga and Birgunj.
Likewise, the cabinet meeting also decided to approve the organizational structure of Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce and Supplies and Revenue Investigation Department
