Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday met top business leaders and Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai during his week-long visit to India. Trudeau wore an intricate golden sherwani at the event and impressed everyone at the venue with his love for India. Trudeau was accompanied by his wife Sophie and kids, Xavier and Ella.
The celebrated politician has already visited the Taj Mahal in Agra, the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad and the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
Speaking about his visit, Trudeau had earlier told a leading daily, “One of the things that I really wanted to show to my kids is the extraordinary diversity of India, being able to go to a mandir, to Golden Temple, to a mosque and then to other places, this highlights the diversity and pluralism of India which isn’t without its challenges.”
Justin Trudeau is scheduled to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 23.
