Kathmandu, April 19
Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) is all geared up to go to the ballot for new leadership in just a few days for which candidacies were filed on Wednesday.
ECAN Chairman Prakash Pandey said the panels led by Bishnu Hari Pandey and Saroj Basnet have registered to vie for new leadership. He added that a total of 37 individuals have filed candidacies for 18 posts. Meanwhile, Krishna KC has filed a separate individual candidacy for the post of vice chairman.
ECAN’s 12th Annual General Assembly (AGM) slated for April 21 will elect an 18-member new executive body. A total of 377 individuals will cast their votes during the AGM. ECAN has five district branches with 500 consultancies affiliated with it.
