Dhangadhi, March 30
Indian Ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri paid a courtesy call on Province-7 Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta on Thursday.
In a meeting held at the Office of Chief Minister and Council of Ministers at Dhangadhi, matters related to the up-gradation of Gauriphanta and Jhulaghat checkpoints were discussed.
Though these are the two old points connecting Province-7 with India, the up-gradation of the checkpoints has yet to be materialized.
Chief Minister Bhatta shared that the discussion was also held on possibility of importing agro technology of India to Province 7.
