Child-friendly infrastructures have been developed at Sharada Primary School in Annapurna Rural Municipality-5, Falate under the aegis of community people.
The child-friendly infrastructure was constructed at the cost of Rs 2.5 million raised from locals, people of Falate residing in Pokhara and Kathmandu and foreign nationals.
The infrastructure includes sports ground for basketball and football, swimming pool, swing, drinking water tape, slide, monkey bar and entrance gate for pre-primary and primary level students, shared Sports Ground Construction Committee Chairperson Kesh Gauchan.
It was shared that the infrastructure was developed to attract students’ interests to education and improve education quality.
