China Media Group’s objection to Mao’s masked photo publication

China Media Group (CMG) has objected to an image published by ‘The Kathmandu Post’  on February 18, under Kantipur Media Group. In the article titled ‘China’s secrecy has made the corona virus crisis much worse’, the mask is pasted on the photo of Chinese great leader Mao Zedong, inscribed on the one hundred RMB.

CMG journalist Zhang Yue (Barsha) has asserted on that such photos insult to the Chinese people, saying that China has high respect for its leader.

As shared by the World Health Organization’s appeal, because Corona virus infection has recently become worldwide, anyone can wear masks to be protected from the infection of the virus but not only the Chinese people.

Wearing a mask on a video CMG correspondent Chang Yue has said, ‘If you need a photo, use this photo of mine for free.’ CMG correspondent Barsha condemned to the Kathmandu post mistake, saying that it is not acceptable to the Chinese people to spread rumors to the world like as western media.
